GladysROONEYPassed away peacefully on 23rd August 2025, aged 87 years.

Beloved wife of the late Tony, devoted mum to Kevin and Joanne, mother-in-law to Karen and Shaun and a much loved nan to Isobelle and Charlie.

She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Cheltenham Crematorium, Oak Chapel on Thursday 18th September at 2pm. All are welcome.

Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Gladys for Sue Ryder Leckhampton Hospice may be given online at www.masonandstokes.co.uk or sent c/o Mason & Stokes, 54 Hewlett Road, Cheltenham GL52 6AH

We were very sorry to read that Gladys had passed away, I had the pleasure of meeting her whilst joining Maureen for several coffee, she was such an infectious lady who made us laugh with the stories she told me about the school days. Our thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.

We’re very sorry to hear the sad news that Glad has passed away Glad was a lovely lady and our late parents Maureen Davis and Harry Gregory always looked forward to meeting up with her. They greatly enjoyed her company whether it was at school or meeting for coffee Glad always brought her infectious good nature and humour lots of laughs were had! She will be sadly missed Paul & Kim Davis.
